Hi!
I'm running LMDE 64-bit on a thinkpad edge e320.
On first install wifi played nicely, the assigned function button turned it on and off. I had to reinstall and now a strange thing happens.
Firstly I have to rfkill unblock each time.
Now the dedicated wifi doesn't work, but the really strange one is that now when I "sudo ifconfig wlan0 down", the wireless turns off.. then within 20secs turns itself back on again!? Somethings turning it back on but I don't know what.
I'm about to be working where there is no wifi and limited power so I want to turn off wifi completely so I can extend battery life.
Any suggestions or directions?
thanks!
