I have to congratulate you.
I am a XFCE lover and I've seen the release notes on Maty's blog and I really surprised whith it.
Cassandra XFCE was very stable, I hope that this version works better than it.

I'll be waiting the final release. Grat work!

Adeus!

Any progress on this edition? Maybe another Dev could help merlwiz out so we can get it here before Ubuntu gets Hardy out?

I am really looking forward to this release.
It will be the first choice for some of the less powerful computers in the house.

Keep up the good work!

...after a couple of days of heavy usage I'm wondering how much better it can be?!
I'm leaning heavily towards making it my MAIN distribution for ALL the 'puters in the house!
Really good work!

Sorry for the delays, but a lot of things aren't going well. :?
I also think my hard drive with XFCE Daryna installed is going bad. :(
I just bought a new hard drive(500GB 7200 RPM 16MB) and once it arrives I will be rearranging everything. 8)
I was running out of space.

Here are some updates for Daryna XFCE. :D

Just a thought...
Is there any other menu in XFCE then the ordinary one_
I have a soft spot for those wide, easy to navigate ones, like mintMenu and Tasty Menu, so is there one?
...or is it possible to use the mintMenu, via the Gnome panel, but rather without?! :?

No there is no other menu for XFCE. :(
There is a way to to get the mintMenu running with the XFCE panel.
I would have to do some editing of the code to do it.
Only thing is I think they moved away from python, will have to look into that.(I new how to edit the python version for XFCE CE)
It is also slow when 1st booting into XFCE CE while using the mintMenu.

Well, before you do that, could you by any chance just replace Firefox with Opera or Iceweasel(wait...is it the same as firefox?!) or Epiphany or Kazekahase or whatever...maybe change the wallpaper, replace deluge with transmission(just some thoughts)...you know, make just some small improvements wherever(and IF) you feel necessary, include all updates and release it as stable?!!

I got to tell you Merlwiz...the beta release is perfect! It's the most stable and beautiful operating system I've seen and I thank you for it! :D :D :D

I am using it everyday without any trouble, firefox works like a charm too, but just to be sure you could replace it  .

Hardy is nice it brings many new features, but also some annoying bugs. I think there are many people like me out there who'd rather have a nice light stable and beautiful system(like Daryna Xfce) and don't care much about pulse audio and such...

Of course I'm looking forward Elyssa XFCE CE, but man! you've come so far with this great release, why leave it to Beta?! :D
