Ubuntuone on LMDE Update Pack 3
Anyone manage to get it working on LMDE? I was stymied with python-apport which isn't available from the LMDE repositories.

i remember old topics about the same subject (unfortunately now i can't find them) and no luck: running in circles chasing unmet deps and getting nowhere

Well I've found a few 'how tos' and this afternoon one specifically for Linux Mint. Unfortunately it wasn't for LMDE, and I got caught in the dependency hell you're referring to.zerozero wrote:i remember old topics about the same subject (unfortunately now i can't find them) and no luck: running in circles chasing unmet deps and getting nowhere

Yeah I've tried the 1st URL sometime ago on vanilla Debian; it's outdated and doesn't work. I've been working at this for some months now and haven't been able to get Ubuntuone to work on a non-Ubuntu distro without going through dependency hell.
Your second link isn't working for me btw.
BTW Are there any linuxmint support email lists? Not crazy about this type of web forum.

Re: Ubuntuone on LMDE Update Pack 3
I tried Ubuntuone on LMDE once but I gave up. Shame really, it looks like a good service, though obviously I have never used it.
