amazon streaming error FIXED

the video that I bought and steam on amazon seem to have stop working with mint and ubuntu it trys update then gives me an error saying that the player tried update but couldnt and video wont play anymore, anyone know how can fix this

fixed just put sudo apt-get install hal in the terminal and clear the browser catch. worked fine after that

I'm having the same problem in LM12 with cinnamon in both FF10 and Chromium 16 browsers.
My other set up is Crunchbang 10 bpo with IceWeasel 10 and Chromium 9 and both updated fine and work as they should. It would be interesting to know if either of the LMDEs work. Very tempting to reinstall just to see. I'm thinking that it is an LM12/Ubuntu 11.10 issue, but I'm not sure.

Interestingly, both #! bpo and LM12 use flash 11.0.1.152. Also, it appears that for some instant videos using LM12 it is not a problem and they play fine.
