I installed Mint 12 a couple days ago. I was very happy with it until I tried to print a document. Apparently it only prints to files and I can't find any way to set up a printer. I have an HP Photosmart 3210 connected to my router. Ubuntu handled it automatically. I think I'll go back to Ubuntu!
SOLVED: I think. Once I found that I had to "unlock" the printers dialog, I think it added the Photosmart printer. At least I was able to print a test page. Now I'll have to see if Picasa will print photos! By the way, if any Mint people read this, it's way easier to add a printer in Ubuntu -- you should check their methods...
