Applets and zones: existential questions.

Postby roger64 on Wed Feb 22, 2012 3:46 am

Hi

Now with Cinnamon 1.3.1,using the Cinnamon theme, we can drag applets on a three colours panel. Very nice.

I still have questions though. :D
About zones
We currently have three zones. Two small side zones, one big center zone.
Is it possible to change the relative size of these zones? To add a new zone?

About applet position
The applets are placed, next one to another, on the left side of the zone (I think)
Is it possible to place an applet dead on the center of the center zone? on the right side of one zone?

Of course, you can expect to get a big prize if you find the answer.

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

At least one question is answered.

I served myself a fat prize. I just spotted the Spaces applet on the Cinnamon site which does the trick. A little clumsy, but you don't need to do it everyday, unless you're really unstable... :D

So, on this example, the Iconized windows list applet is squarely in the center of the center zone.
