Hi there
I install mint and only could say it is gorgeous. Great job

So is there any option or configuration to run MATE by default. I set it on automatic log-in and it goes to Gnome shell every time. How can I change default Environment to MATE?

If you logout, and then login in MATE and reboot doesn't MATE start by default?

No. It goes to Gnome 3

@ xpander: We don't use LDM (LTSP Display Manager). LightDM is the login screen used by Mint 12.

ohh sorry.. thought LDM is short name of LightDM

works fine for me too... dunno whats the problem then.
i have gnome3 also but mate is picked and it logs automatically to mate.
