I updated from LMDE 201109 64-bit with Update Pack 3; removed gstreamer......really-bad.
i have main, upstream and import sources from the Main Server and Other Sources as follows:
http://debian.linuxmint.com/latest testing main contrib non-free
http://debian.linuxmint.com/latest/multimedia testing main non-free
http://debian.linuxmint.com/security testing/updates main contrib non-free
when I reload in Package Manager, I get the following errors:
ERROR###ERROR###ERROR###ERROR###ERROR###ERROR###ERROR
W:Failed to fetch http://debian.linuxmint.com/security/di ... 4/Packages 404 Not Found
, W:Failed to fetch http://debian.linuxmint.com/security/di ... 4/Packages 404 Not Found
, W:Failed to fetch http://debian.linuxmint.com/security/di ... 4/Packages 404 Not Found
, E:Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead
Where am I going wrong?

Re: errors with Update Pack 3
Do your sources look exactly as you posted them? The URLs should have a 'deb' at the beginning of each line...
deb http://debian.linuxmint.com/latest testing main contrib non-free
deb http://debian.linuxmint.com/latest/multimedia testing main non-free
deb http://debian.linuxmint.com/latest/security testing/updates main contrib non-free
EDIT: Oops. spotted the problem. you need 'latest' in your security line, too.

Re: errors with Update Pack 3
DougB,
apart from the problem squeezy already pointed out, you have another one with the 3rd repo
edit: yeahh what he says
so to some it up your sources.list should look like this

Re: errors with Update Pack 3
Duuh!
Bizarre how you can look at a typo for hours and not see it.
Thanks, squeezy and zerozero.
Doug
(P.S. I had 'debbed' the URLs but just did it through Package Manager Repositories)
