should i be concerned that my fans seem to be spinning more and more in linux mint 12 compared to my last linux distro, which was ubuntu maverick? i'm running non fancy gnome with atis lastest 12.12 drivers on an asus 1215t netbook. i love everything about it except i can noticeably hear the fan more and more. i've installed some cpu temp software, and it seems like both cpus are anywhere from 60 to 70 c normally. should i just roll back to the original open source graphic card drivers? i understood that they were less efficient. i'm just not really sure what direction to turn with this one, as i hate to go back to having to use gnome 2 and an outdated ubuntu (mic didn't work then). thanks for any advice,
-ben
