Hi all,
my desktop icons rearrange themselves along the left side of the screen - without rebooting in between! I can arrange them, and tick the "snap to grid" thingy as well in the right click menu, but after minutes or hours (seemingly random) they just go "pop" back to the left side of the screen.
If I tick "snap to grid", and right afterwards right click the same icon again, "snap to grid" is not ticked anymore already. Not sure if that has anything to do with it - does "snap to grid" only help arrange icons, or does it mean "stay there" as well?
Either way, the tick doesn't stay.
Any ideas?
Cheers,
Matt

Are you using pcmanfm? I don't use desktop icons - prefer launchers in panels - but I think right clicking a desktop icon should present the option "Stick to current position".

Yes I thought that should do the trick, but it doesn't, they still move.
