My hardware and youtube freeze videos

Hi everybody. I'm new in this. I'm really happy with the Linux Mint Operative System. I have a Dell Latitud X200 lap top:
-Computer-
Processor : Mobile Intel(R) Pentium(R) III CPU - M 800MHz
Memory : 371MB (246MB used)

The only issue i have is on online videos... the audio sounds great, but the video (youtube or whatever) is freezing.
Do any body knows if a memory upgrade could help to solve this issue?

I have tried.. but i still not finish the setp 1. When i type

sudo gedit /etc/adobe/mms.cfg

i receive a message:

sudo: gedit: command not found

i'm tired now, i'll try tomorrow and i let you know what happend.

That means you don't have gedit installed.....???

Type this in a terminal:

Code: Select all

sudo apt-get install gedit

and then:

Code: Select all

sudo gedit /etc/adobe/mms.cfg

1. Sorry for take so much time to answer. I replace the cmos battery, but it took me a few days.
2. Really thank you for your help with the gedit install.
I have complete the step 1. I could open the /etc/adobe/mms.cfg file (it was totally empty, i dont know if it is normal).
I copy and paste the OverrideGPUValidation=true line into that file, saved and closed it...

But the videos are still freezing (even in NO FULL SCREEN)...

and i dont understand how can i follow the instruction of step 2. How could i edit the starter of the preferred webbrowser??
