Yes,...Slackware 13.37 isn't really small....
I have it running on my main computer (about 8 years old P4)......and its' "saving grace" ( I guess you'd say) is that it is pretty sleek and fast. I have it running the XFCE desktop,.....but you really have to let it load the ENTIRE goobledegoop (I used an install DVD since I'm on dialup). Then I installed stuff I needed from the repositories of Salix and Vector..such as LibreOffice,..and the codecs from Vector.

In all fairness,....I have to say that my old nVidia driver was easy to install,...and I have all the apps I need,..and it runs very sleek and fast on my older computers. But it sure does take a lot of tweaking and fiddling to get it all set up. :)
