ad-hoc error: (Error for wireless request "Set Encode" (8B2A

Hi
When i want use ad-hoc connection between to linux computers by this commands ,happend this error when i enter key option :

Code: Select all

# iwconfig eth1 mode Ad-Hoc
# iwconfig eth1 essid NAME
# iwconfig eth1 channel 8
# iwconfig eth1 key ANYTHINGS

Code: Select all

alireza-lap alireza # iwconfig eth2 mode ad-hoc essid alireza-ad-hoc-wireless key 1234567890 channel 8
Error for wireless request "Set Encode" (8B2A) :
    SET failed on device eth2 ; Invalid argument.

I not found any solution for this problem .
any idea ?
