Install emacs in Daryna?? solved

Hello:
I would like to install emacs in LinuxMint 4.0 (Daryna).
Has anyone done this or have any suggestions...

It's in the repos so there should not be any major problem

I still don't get it.
I go to the software portal and search for emacs but don't find anything.
Is the "repos" some other location?

Well we've all been that
Repos = short for repositories
Open Synaptic (Package Manager) from the menu and search for

emacs metapackage

Then install it, some dependencies will also be installed
