Linux Mint 'Julia' boot error

Hello! sorry for my bad english, I'm french...
When I want to start my comptuter, I have choose Linux mint in GRUB (My computer have ubuntu too ) and a little window has pop, it was in french:
Il y a un problème avec le serveur de configuration.
(/usr/lib/libgconf2-4/gconf-sanity-check-2 à quitter avec l'état 256)

This comment is interesting: You may have to use CTRL+ALT+F1 at the login screen if you can't get a desktop.

I have install againt linux mint because some package don't want to be installed....
I'm actually on Ubuntu 11.10, because I try to install Windows XP BUT, I will to keep linux mint after!
I love it!! :D
