widgetStyle doesn't work

Post by Necrodust »

Hello, I use Mint 11 with Gnome and am trying to set gtk theme for KDE applications ran as root. If I run a KDE application as an ordinary user, it uses the default gtk theme (this is still strange). But if I run it via sudo, it uses QtCurve theme. I set widgetStyle=gtk in section [General] in /root/.kde/share/config/kdeglobals, but it had no effect. I have even tried to change widgetStyle in /home and found that it doesn't work. I set it to "qtcurve", "QtCurve", "Cleanlooks" and rebooted, but it had affected nothing. I have cleared all the cache in /var/tmp, with no result. Please help.
