Occassionally I get error beeps when starting up (Linux Mint 11 on a T30 ThinkPad).
The sound is 1 123 123 1.
I've tried to find the list online but haven't come up with anything. Can anyone point me in the direction of such a list? Or tell me what the sequence means.
If I do a bit of fussing I can eventually bootup OK, but I'd like to know what's happening and what I can do to fix this.

I just put thinkpad beep codes in google and came up with http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/Error_Codes_and_Beep_Codes as the first entry

I will bookmark that link. Looks like it's a memory slot issue. Funny, 'cause the T30s have a prob with the lower mem slot not being recognized. This particular one (I have 3) never had that problem. I run a script every once in a while to check available mem and it Always shows my 2 slot total.
