Software manager doesn't install packages..

I am a fresh linux user, and at first, when I installed mint 12 KDE, my software manager worked fine.
But now, when I get in, it shows all the softwares but it doesnt enter them, so I cant install them.
It enters only to the softwares that are already installed in my mint.
Anybody knows how to fix it?? Thanks.

Are you sure you have a check mark next to "Available packages" in the "View" menu of Software Manager?

Yes I did, but still, when I press on a software that I dont have, It does nothing...

You can install Muon as an alternative software manager for Mint KDE (open synaptic and search for the "muon-installer" package).
