Best option for "stress testing" Linux off CD?

Postby MattShepherd on Tue Apr 17, 2012 7:27 am

I'm trying to diagnose whether my Linux install is screwed, or if my hardware is screwy.

What's the best thing to do to run Linux "at capacity" off the trial/install CD for several hours to see if Linux crashes (indicating a hardware problem) or if Linux is fine (meaning that my install is the problem)?
