Touchscreen Support?

Postby castletonia on Fri Apr 13, 2012 8:26 pm

I am getting a Fujitsu Lifebook B6210 laptop in the next day or two that has a touchscreen. The touchscreen apparently can be used with either your fingertip or the stylus which leads me to believe the stylus does not use a digitizer.

This is a lower spec laptop (1.2GHz Core Solo with 1GB of memory installed) so I would prefer to not keep Windows XP on it. Would I be able to use any version of Mint and have touchscreen capabilities?

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

Anyone? Google and the Ubuntu forums did not turn up anything helpful or promising. I have Windows XP installed and the touchscreen does work but I would really like to put Mint LXDE or LMDE XFCE as a dualboot but I would still like the touchscreen capability.
