Hi, I don't know if this is in the right place, but I ran the livecd for mint 12 (DVD) on my acer aspire 1410 and noticed there were no menubars along the top or bottom of the screen. I proceeded to install thinking it would correct itself but it didn't. There are also no titlebars or close/minimize buttons on the windows.
Does anyone have any ideas?

Mint 11 seems to work fine.
