Question about Cinnamon

Hi all,

I have a fresh install of LM12 and I was wondering if Cinnamon would work okay with the open source Nouveau driver or whether I would need the proprietary Nvidia driver. If I do need the Nvidia driver, what version would be recommended for an older card like the EVGA 6200 LE card ?

Can't give you the specifics, but I can tell you that I've successfully run Cinnamon before installing the proprietary drivers (I was using whatever comes with Mint be default).

Thanks, I pretty much answered my own question by installing Cinnamon and trying it out. It seems to work well enough for me with the Nouveau driver that comes installed by default.
