Greetings linux Mint, and everyone...

Dear All,

I guess you've heard the following before... :)

Many years of loyal Ubuntu using. Finally last month, figured I had to move on with time too, upgraded to Unity... .tried *really* hard to like it for a month. Failed.

After that, I wanted a simple, stable desktop that does not eat resources, ... found the LXDE version of linux Mint. Just what I wanted, have been using it for some weeks now, and decided to stay for a while. ...

I'm not exactly a linux noob, but will need to ask some simple questions every now and then.
I'm certainly no linux guru either... :)

Hope to see you at the forum,
Van Vreeborg

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

welcome to the mint family forums

there is probably not much you can ask which hasn't been already.. so the search may be your best friend [ if you do need to ask please state what build and flavour of mint you are using together with hardware details { if its a hardware problem}]
