After UP4 and the following cinnamon updates, my xsession errors are still scary.
And sound is killed at least once a day. Re-installing alsa libs, resetting pulse.conf
and others did not do the trick.
I would very much appreciate, if a knowledgeable person could advise.

Searching for those error messages did not lead me
to any solution so far.

Update:
While tinkering with it, I became a victim of the mono/x.org bug in updates of May 1.
Since the system was fubar, I did a fresh install.
Thanks to a separate home partition and backups, no data was lost.
The system was up and running within less than an hour.
