Ntfs partition getting corrupted

What am I doing wrong?


I plug in a portable drive, Linux sees the drives/ mounts it, I copy files, I do a safe remove.
But at this point my WIn boxes see the drive as a corrupted partition.

What is going on here and what am I doing wrong?

linux mint 10, Fedora 14, ntfs-3g etc....

sata 120 gb in sata to usb portable

This also happens on my flash disk some times.
You can let windows check your disk and see if it happens again.
