Hello, I am using Linux Mint Debian and like it very much. I was having issues on my Dell D630 laptop with the Ubuntu version of Mint, but after switching to the Debian version all is working well.
I would like to use Cairo-GLX as my default desktop manager, but can't figure out how to make it the default. I have installed it using the Software Repository tool, and can start it manually (running it right on top of Cinnamon, so I know it works), but there is no option at the log in screen that allows me to set it as my desktop. All of the other desktops are selectable there (Cinnamon, MATE, Gnome, Gnome Classic), but Cairo does not appear.
Can someone point me in the right direction in order to STOP using Cinnamon and START using Cairo?
Thanks in advance.
