Well is it not an ISO?
Even the built in burning program handles that
Else try Brasero

The easiest way using a dedicated app is through Brasero. Install it from the Mint Software Portal and once open drag the iso from the wherever it is into the Brasero window. Simple! (Ithink Brasero also does a check sum scan for you too if you want).
