I bought and "rebuilt" an Acer Aspire AO722-0825 with LMDE 201204 this passed weekend for my wife. Everything including the dimmer Fn, Trackpad Fn seem to work without problems.
The wireless came up and has worked flawlessly for three days (now) and on three different wireless networks. The only issues I encountered with the LMDE 201204 build were with an error in the graphics display when loading the live 64bit LMDE software (before performing my build). It was fixed easily by using the F5 key and numerous other 'tricks' to refresh the screen. From that point on things were as 'slick as goose grease'.
This is a wonderful, little (footprint-wise) PC, now with a reliable, open, reliable, and 'fast' OS.
The unit was on sale this weekend for $299 at Staples. I know it was priced less earlier, but I missed that sale. Oh well.... I still recommend the unit if you want a light weight, good capacity, little laptop even the keyboard is 'ok'... just not great.
