VIA USB Audio Dongle + QjackCtl

Hello everybody!

I´m really new to linux and i´m glad to saying that i get all the common office stuff done everyday Great o/s!

But now i want to record my guitar with ardour and rakarrack. My problem is, that i can´t get my usb soundcard (a cheap via dongle) to work in qjackctl.
I only get the system-ports and my notebook haven´t a mic-in, so i want to use the usb-dongle.

In QjackCtl i getting in the device-list the usb dongle but not in the connections. only "system" and "rakarrack", so i can´t route the sound from the mic-in.
i tried to play sound from banshee over the usb dongle and it worked! i think that the dongle must be ok.

I have linux mint 12 (64-bit) with all the newest updates.


Please help me! i don´t want to boot up windows, to record my guitar!

when you have the dongle plugged in, you should open a terminal and type lsusb then paste the output here

Okay I do apologize but I can't name of the card, whats the name on it?
