Can't install Brother Printer MFCJ410w using LMDE 64 bit
Was using Mint 12 64 bit and got the printer to work, but having a problem with installing printer in LMDE.

Thanks Matt but I can't get that far, can't load the drivers and programs, get error 32 bit vs 64 architecture. On an aside, I was from Connecticut now I'm from anywhere USA.

This goes beyond my linux knowledge, but do you have the correct kernel header installed?

Problem solved. Had to create directories, /var/spool/lpr/printer name using the root terminal. All other required directories were already installed. I then ran, dpkg -i --force-all command and everything worked just fine.
