Evolution filters default to outgoing filter list.

When I use the Create Rule option to filter out (stop processing, delete) future mail coming from the sender of a received message, the filter automatically goes into the outgoing filter list instead of the incoming. I've found no way to change this odd behaviour. What am I missing?
