There is a headset, there is a Mint on KDE, so uname:
[сode]
mint @ desktop ~ $ uname-a

Linux desktop 3.0.0-12-generic # 20-Ubuntu SMP Fri Oct 7 14:50:42 UTC 2011 i686 i686 i386 GNU / Linux [/code]
There is also a Bluetooth adapter USBshny who sees mint periods, periods of not, at this point does not see when you connect and issue the following error:

I've conjured with disabling ehci_hcd,but now the error comes from uhci_hcd.
In windsurfing this BT adapter works quietly and is connected, then here in the presence of soft-error.
Again, when the adapter is not connected, it is impossible to bring the sound to the headset because the headset Phonon marked in gray in the device listAlthough paired and connected to the headset as well, and all packets for pulse / bluez installed.

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

Ok the problem fixed, there was broken bluetooth adapter, I bought new one and now my headset connects to the computer.
But the problem appeared with transiting sound to the headset. I've setup in Phonon to transit sound to the headset but it doesn't work, just one beep and that's all. What am I doing wrong?

Try installing PulseAudio Volume Control

This will give you extra settings, to see if your headset is being picked up or could just be muted.

Code: Select all
sudo apt-get install pavucontrol
