Firefox / LMDE problem

Hello,

I have a strange problem which appears when I open sites like facebook, twitter, linuxmint forums, etc. When I try to open a page, there is no text content. What could be the reason for such behaviour? I haven't installed anything else, firefox is as it comes by default with LMDE.

If you haven't installed any add-ons then I can only suggest un-installing and then re-installing via synaptic and see if that fixes the problem.

Maybe it has something to do with uninstalled fonts. Look here

I have also tested this theory as per instructions in the article and can confirm it.
