How the heck do I fix file sharing? I want to right click on a file and share it, just like previous versions. I swear, Ubuntu (or is it the Mint team?) is getting more and more like Windows! GNOME3 and can't share files easily -- pelase protect me from myself, I'm a freaking idiot who doesn't need ot be near a computer, surely the developers know more about what I want/need to do than I do!! Can't find an easy answer here or on the web. The ones that I do find concering Ubuntu 11.10 tell me to set a samba password, but I can't seem to do that. Don't have one as far as I know, never needed it before. Tried using my user log-on, that doesn't seem to work.
I'm fairly new to Linux, but have been using Mint for a couple years now -- mainly a user. So can someone please fix this! I don't really want to start looking for other distributions or go back to an older version of Mint (I'm using Mint 12). Surely this can be fixed to be as easy as it was before some idiot "fixed" it!
