lm12 Skype tray icon doesn't appear

Hy!
I cant find my skype tray icon in lm12. if i close the window i cant find it nowhere and if i start another skype then obviously cant login because of the other one. Any solution or workaround?

Yes. So now it start at the background when i login and still cant see the tray icon. (i have it auto launch at start)

update: it Seem like if i close the autostarted one and open another skype the tray icon is working.

Any news on a fix for this? I'm having same problem. If I start Skype manually, no issues. But when Skype is auto-started on system startup, the tray icon does not appear.

Hi guys,
To try and make this less of a me too, I'd like to say I have this happening on two different computers. Skype simply disappears from the system tray (except for a small couple of pixels dot). Skype is running, but the system tray icon just vanishes.

My imperfect workaround is to run the System Monitor from the System Tools on the menu. Then I select the Process tab and kill Skype.
I can run Skype again after that. It saves a restart or log out for those that have been doing that! The Linux Skype is still labeled Beta and this is an example of why, I guess.

+1 here in Maya Cinnamon 64bit. After a reboot to get the tray icon back, I was skyped and had a long call. After the call, the icon had gone again. another reboot brought it back.
The post suggesting the System Monitor doesn't seem to work for me, I can't see Skype in there even whwn the icon is present in the tray. Ah, you have to go to the View menu and select "All Processes". I'll try that next time it's disappeared.
