I have linuxmint 12 kde with firefox 12 and the situation I have here is that when I play youtube videos with html5, it gives audio but not to flash player. It used to be just the opposite up until yesterday afternoon.
Funny thing is that I was actually trying to figure out why html5 does not give audio in youtube videos and learnt that it was due to some patented codecs.... and I just let it be but now... htlm5 plays nicely but flashplayer does not give audio!?
Help needed and thanx in advance!
Edit: agrrrrr now both html5 and flashplayer give audio......... but too
firefox flash player html5 youtube (solved ..just like that)

With the codecs of Mint DVD editions (or "install codecs" in the menu on CD edition) any HTML5 video/audio should play fine on Mint.
