Hi.
I have an on-board network card and I also use a USB hi-gain antenna, and Mint keeps trying to auto-connect to any and every network in the neighborhood with the on-board card, and it won't stay off!!! I hit the botton to off-- but it just comes right back on and tries to connect to whomever whenever even though I'm already connected with the USB, and the on-board card forces the USB to disconnect everytime.
If I tell the on-board OFF-- why does it suddenly turn on when it detects some new network's signal??
I can't hit the configure button to tell it to stop auto-connect because it's always grayed out unless it's connected....???????????
How do I permenantly stop it from auto-connecting? Or just shut it off permanently? How do I uninsall the %&^%&$^& driver permanently? Is there a different program(s) I can use to manage the connections?
