Mouse Cursor

Postby markymark12 on Sun May 20, 2012 8:48 pm

Linux Mint Debian User.

Need help with mouse cursor. I figured out how to switch it but here's my dilemma. I can change over to a new mouse but the cursor that shows on the desktop is the default white mouse. However, when I open a browser the cursor becomes the blue, enlarged cursor that I chose. Any thoughts on why the cursor on my desktop would be different from the cursor I see when I open up a new window or browser?

Thanks friend but my problem has nothing to do with mouse size. Also, I'm using LInux MInt Debian, which is slightly different from Ubuntu. My problem, which I described, is a bit weird. Linux allows me to change my mouse cursor but the new cursor only shows up with I have a browser or a window open. Right now, for example, I can see that my mouse cursor is blue but as soon as I go back to my desktop it will show my cursor as an ugly black or ugly white cursor. This is what I need help resolving. Thank you anyway for your attempt. It is much appreciated.

See the second video. Also, even though things are for Ubuntu, many are applicable to LM Debian.
