Hi. I'm using LMDE on my laptop at work. I need to get the office scanner working, which is shared over LAN with other employees. I have managed to configure and install the printer but I have no idea how to install the scanner. Device which we are using is a Canon ir2200i which is a all-in-one printer/scanner.
Any ideas
Scanner over LAN - how to?

Re: Scanner over LAN - how to?
It is not possible at the moment to scan from Simple Scan or Xsane as no driver has been written. It is one of the few printers that Canon does not provide a Linux version of Scangear.
So, the workaround ......
