Is there now, or are there plans for KDE with 13?
If there is now, I seem to have missed it I guess.

No worries, both Linux Mint 13 KDE and Xfce are coming. The developers can't do everything at the same time though, so please allow some time for it.

FWIW, at least with Lisa, adding KDE to the main Gnome release was more stable than LM 12 KDE. YMMV, of course.

I was running the Cinnamon desktop in LM 13, and was quite pleased with it, it was buggy on my wife's machine though, so I switched us both to KDE (I like to run the same thing as her for ease of troubleshooting) I downloaded KDE from the repos and it's running smooth as silk on both of our boxes.
