Hi,
I've been getting errors when I log in to the desktop about display mode unable to select 50 Hz mode. But in my xorg.conf I have this line specifically specifying 60Hz:
Option "metamodes" "DFP-0: 1920x1200_60 +0+0, DFP-3: 1920x1200_60 +1920+0"
60Hz is the proper frequency for my monitors (2 x Dell Ultrasharp 2407).
Can someone please help me get rid of that popup message?
Thanks!
Edit: Actually the message says:
Could not apply the stored configuration for monitors
None of the selected modes were compatible with the possible modes:
Trying modes for CRTC 354
CRTC 354: trying mode 3840x1200@50Hz with output at 1920x1200@50Hz (pass 0)
CRTC 354: trying mode 3840x1200@50Hz with output at 1920x1200@50Hz (pass 1)
Does that mean it wants me to select 50Hz instead of 60Hz? My monitors have always worked on 60 (in Windows I can't even select 50).
