What is the recommended application for editing the mint menu in Cinnamon? I installed alacarte (Main Menu) which I used in the past, but it is not working correctly - items are not displayed in the correct places.

Re: [SOLVED] Editing main menu entries in cinnamon
When I do this now, I don't see "Edit" anything. What's "Add to Panel"?
Re: [SOLVED] Editing main menu entries in cinnamon
Try this:
Right Click on the Menu Icon..
Select Configure...
At the bottom of the window that pops up select "Open the Menu Editor"
From there you can select any Menu Item. If you right click and go to properties you can change the name.
Hope this helps
