Linux Mint 13 Cinnamon Software Manager bug!!!

installed linux mint 13 cinnamon x 64 bit today....all went well but when i went into software manager, not synaptic, i see all available software but checkboxes are missing so i can't install anything!

You install by clicking on the package, going to it's details page, and clicking the "Install" button there. You can use Package Manager (Synaptic) if you so prefer, it is also installed.
