I have just performed a new install of Mint 12 and I'm trying to enable remote desktop on it so I can access it remotely from a Windows box. According to a quick Google search, I read something that says to go to Preferences, and then Remote Desktop. The problem is that I don't see 'Preferences' anywhere on my installation.
I do know that when first installed Mint 12, there were no icons, etc on the desktop, so I had to change to 'gnome classic' as per:viewtopic.php?f=46&t=89654
Does anyone know how to enable 'Remote Deskop'?
Thanks in advance!
