Why is my live dvd giving me this message?

To be honest, this is Pepper mint OS, but it's based off of Ubuntu, which Mint is based off of (I love Mint BTW )
But I want to duel boot Mint and Peppermint together, but it gives me this message here. Even if you can't read it, do you have any ideas on what is wrong? I posted this here because the Peppermint forums are dead.

Actually I just found out Ubuntu, Mint, and Peppermint os (probably others to) don't work well with NVIDIA graphics cards.
How do I fix this? That's probably the problem I've been having with Linux in general

Did you try compatibility mode from the boot menu, or adding "nomodeset" to the kernel boot parameters?
