I make a previous post, it gains 37 views over four days and no one replies. I post a question to the Raspberry Pi forums (which came in the mail two days ago) and I get multiple replies within minutes of my post. I also get quick responses from the Ubuntu forums. I REALLY like Mint and find it a little disheartening that my post didn't even get a scoff.

You are mistaking "users don't know the answer to your question" with "users are ignoring you".
