[solved] keyboard shortcut for system monitor

Postby minties on Fri Jun 08, 2012 8:17 pm

Hi all. I am using Mint 13 Mate 64.

I followed the instructions on creating the shortcut here:

http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/20355/us ... ks-easily/

and there are no problems setting it up. But when I press Ctrl+Alt+Del, an error window pops up with the message:

"Error while trying to run (gnome-system-monitor)
which is linked to the key (<Primary><Alt>Delete)"

What problem does this error message indicate? I tried searching google for the exact message, but there are no results.

Thanks in advance.

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

Gnome-system-monitor is called mate-system-monitor in MATE. Change your shortcut to refer to mate-system-monitor and all should be well.
