can i run games/emulator like snes or zsnes in mint, or maybe something else like it. thx for advice

Yes, the are many emulators for different platforms on Linux. ZSnes actually has a Linux version. I also often run MAME and PCSX (PSX emulator). And all these are available straight form the repos, so it's mind numbingly easy to install.
Some platforms like Dreamcast are not as well emulated as on Windows, but Wine can usually help you there.

You're welcome. Note that there are additional emulators that are not available from the repos but might have PPAs (additional software sources) for easy installation. PCSX2 is an example. In case you're interested, it's PPA is here.
