Reset Monitor Settings
I hooked up a second monitor and turned the one I was using off in the monitor settings in order to use just the second one. When I went to switch back, I enabled that monitor again and then both monitors went blank and the only way I could recover was to reboot. Since then I have had the computer freeze up on me (or appears to) a couple times with the only way to recover was by rebooting and now the video seems to be glitchy and the menus are acting funny like they flash and then I have to mouse over again for them to appear. I was wondering if this was related to the monitor settings, so I tried hooking up the second monitor again and as soon as I plugged it in, the monitor I was using went blank and nothing came up on the second monitor. So, since something is not right with the monitor settings, I was wondering how do I reset them? I'm running Mint Debian w/ UDP 4 and Cinnamon.
