Only a few screensavers for LM 13 Mate???

Do anyone know where to get more screensavers to use with mate screensaver, xscreensaver fails to activate everytime I boot the computer, mate screensavers works but the only options are black screen, random, cosmos, floating feet, picture folder and pop art squares, any ideas???

A screensaver like "LotsaWater" for OS X would be very nice. On Youtube type in: watch?v=QfsrmMkuK4E

The nicest screensaver I have ever seen (I have a "1st Generation" iMac G5, and that screensaver just looks beautiful).

Enter in terminal to get more screensavers:

sudo apt-get remove gnome-screensaver
    sudo apt-get install xscreensaver xscreensaver-gl-extra xscreensaver-data-extra

Anything a little less drastic than that?? I did this with Mint 12 and I don't won't to go tearing up the system like that - it just seems a bit extreme, especially since I've decided to settle down with MATE for a the long haul. I really don't like having so many DE's installed as it gets a bit confusing as to what desktop a setting changes.

Already done that, didn't worked, Xscreensaver daemon deactivates at every restart!

Even though I decided against trying xscreensaver with Mint 13, it worked superbly on Mint 12. I had to add xscreensaver to the startup application list, though. You should try that, if you haven't already .

I don't know what I did exactly, but I reinstalled linuxmint maya mate, did what you told me and behold it is working now, maybe it worked when I removed mate-screensaver!
